  2. Only full-time enrolled students are entitled to the ‘student registration’ rate. A letter on your University/College letterhead signed by your supervisor is required one week after you have registered through the conference website to maintain your student registration rate. Please send your letter via email to the Conference Organising Chair at
  3. Students attending the Doctoral Consortium are required to register and attend the full ACIS2018
  4. A registered delegate can add one additional ticket for the Welcome Reception and/or the Conference Dinner.

The registration fee does not include costs for travel, accommodation or personal insurance.

Online Registration

For those requiring visas to attend, complete your registration and then contact us via the Conference Organising Chair at for a Letter of Invitation to support your visa application process. Please provide your full name and title, passport number, the purpose of attendance and details of your local Australian Embassy or Consulate. As visa applications can take several weeks, registrants are strongly encouraged to apply for the Letter of Invitation no later than two months before the conference.

Cancellation Policy

To claim applicable refunds for cancellations, please email the Conference Organising Chair on or before Friday 2nd November 2018. Cancellations will be refunded in full less an administration fee of $150. Refunds to overseas accounts will use the exchange rate applicable at the time of the refund.

Cancellations submitted after 2nd November cannot be refunded. Substitute delegates are welcome without penalty, but please advise the Conference Organising Chair of any name changes before Monday 26th November.

No Show Policy

To be published in the ACIS2018 conference proceedings, an author of an accepted paper MUST register for the conference by 26 October 2018 and the paper MUST be presented at the conference. The presenter is required to register only once regardless of how many papers s/he (co)authors and presents.


Insurance, including medical cover, travel cover and expenses incurred in the event the conference is cancelled, is your responsibility. Please discuss insurance cover with your travel agent when booking air travel.
